Yoga
My journey with yoga began in the summer of 2015 in Athens, Greece. The first classes left a strong impression on me physically and mentally.
Yoga offered a holistic approach to wellness that I had not found elsewhere. Its simplicity is part of the power: one mat, a small space, and the willingness to pay attention.
Beyond the physical practice, yoga philosophy offers a deep well of wisdom around mindfulness, compassion, detachment, and living in harmony with nature.
It is discouraging to see how commercialized yoga has become, but the core practice remains strong if one approaches it seriously and patiently.
Yoga has taught me patience and persistence. Progress on the mat reflects discipline over time, and that lesson carries over into everything else.
